A Manifesto for the Next Season: Walking Faithfully into Clarity

Becoming Who God is Forming

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.” -Psalm 37:5

What if the calling on your life is not a destination to arrive at, but a journey to walk faithfully?

At church, we are walking through a journey right now that will eventually culminate in writing a personal manifesto. It is a process of reflection and intention. A declaration of who we are becoming and what we believe God is asking of us.

As I have engaged in that process, I have realized this is not entirely new for me.

In 2016, I started a business called Clarity Solutions. At the time, I did not fully have language for all that it would become. I only knew I felt drawn toward work that helped create clarity, support, and forward movement for others. Looking back, I can see God was already planting something deeper than I understood.

Several years ago, I also began to sense a quiet invitation from God. I was being called deeper. Invited to pay attention. Invited to name what He had placed inside me.

This is part of that journey.

As I began reflecting on my own values, I realized I had never formally written down what I would call my core values.

As a family, we do have a mission statement, and it has been a strong foundation for us:

The Rood family strives to be loving, give generously, and be of service to others by being the hands and feet of Christ.

It hangs in our living room. It shapes our decisions. It guides how we use our time and resources. It reminds us who we want to be.

Clarity Solutions still exists today as the place that holds the contract and project work I continue to do.

But over time, something began to shift.

In 2025, that vision was renewed into a ministry expression called Explore Clarity.

Because I have discovered something important: clarity is not a destination. It is not a final answer or a place you arrive and stop. It is a journey. It is an ongoing invitation to seek God, listen closely, and experience a deepening of faith over time.

That is what Explore Clarity reflects.

It is not about having everything figured out. It is about walking with God in the questions. It is about trusting that understanding unfolds as we follow Him. It is about growth, surrender, obedience, and refinement.

As I have broken this down further, I have begun naming the values that define both my gifts and the way I want to serve:

I am called to encourage.
To live authentically.
To support others.
To pursue a deep relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
To be generous with my time and resources.
To walk in humility and give glory to God.

There is strength in naming what fuels you. There is clarity in recognizing the themes God has been weaving through your life all along.

At the heart of my role in this ministry is this mission:

To provide authentic encouragement and support to those seeking a deeper relationship with God.

From that mission, this manifesto has taken shape.

I am called:

To create experiences that allow people to grow in their relationship with God.
To make space for rest, listening, and deeper connection with Him.
Mark 6:31–32, Matthew 11:28

To provide support and resources that allow people to step out in faith.
To encourage courage and trust when God calls someone beyond what feels safe or familiar.
Matthew 14:29

To speak truth with authenticity to those who desire to stretch and grow.
To be honest, grounded, and loving in the way I encourage others forward.
Ephesians 4:15, 25; 2 Corinthians 2:17

To encourage those who have lost hope and need to hear what God is speaking over them.
To point them back to truth, love, and the steady presence of God.
Matthew 6:33; Colossians 3:14

This is my manifesto.

When I read these words, I recognize them. They reflect who I am and who God has called me to be.

Not perfectly. Not fully arrived. But faithfully becoming.
